The couple then exchanged messages on the networking site LinkedIn before texting on their cell phones, according to reports.
Schwertner allegedly texted the student “I really want to fuck you” and sent her a photo of what appeared to be her genitals in her shower. The image does not show her face, authorities said, and the student never responded to the message. However, a review, later conducted by the school, determined that although Schwertner did not fully cooperate with investigators, it was “plausible” that a third party was sending text messages from an app that both he and the senator were able to access, according to to the Texas Tribune.
