Johnny Cavelle was a dancer and a dance teacher. He was born in Tulare, South Dakota, and spent the majority of his life in Groton. He began dancing as a child, and his passion for dance only became deeper over time. He operated five dancing studios in Aberdeen, Watertown, Huron, Milbank, and Redfield when he retired thirteen years ago. Johnny Cavelle Dance Studies was the name of his company. Vicki Schnoor, Chad Hansen, and Andrea Conklin took over Johnny’s dance studios after he retired.
