Cameron Robbins Wiki – Cameron Robbins Biography
Cameron Robbins, an 18-year-old Louisiana student was celebrating his recent high school graduation on a sunset cruise in the Bahamas on Wednesday when he allegedly jumped overboard on a dare, sparking a massive search.
Cameron Robbins, a recent graduate of University Laboratory School in Baton Rouge, was on a trip to the Bahamas with students from several local high schools, staying at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in Nassau, according to WAFB. Robbins and his buddies went on a sunset party boat on Wednesday evening, just four hours after they arrived.
Witnesses say the 18-year-old, who was evidently acting on a dare, jumped off the boat into the ocean near Athol Island around 9:40 p.m. Robbins was last seen splashing in the murky seas a few feet from the boat before disappearing. The boat, which was constructed to seem like a pirate ship, remained in the region for many hours as crew members searched for the adolescent. The Royal Bahamas Defence Force, with assistance from the US Coast Guard Southeast, has been searching for the missing adolescent from the air but has so far been unsuccessful.
Cameron Robbins is 18 years old.

Robbins attended University Lab School for all 13 years of his education and was a pitcher for the school’s baseball team, according to Director Kevin George. His younger sister attends the school and is a junior. He’s an athlete, a great kid, a great smile, and a great head of hair,” George told WBRZ. “Just another one of those kids you’re so proud of when they walk across the stage.”
On behalf of the school, the principal issued a statement expressing that the University Lab School community was praying for Robbins’ safe return. “I have spoken with Cameron’s family, and authorities are still looking for him in the Bahamas,” George wrote.
In times like these, we need to band together and support one another.” Words cannot explain how concerned our entire school community is.” Robbins’ parents arrived in the Bahamas on Thursday, just in time for a prayer vigil at the resort where their son was vacationing. On the same day, a prayer circle was held outside Robbins’ former school in Baton Rouge.
