Cameron Crossley Robbins Wiki – Cameron Crossley Robbins Biography
Cameron Crossley Robbins, a Louisiana high school graduate, is recalled as a kind, witty, “intense, and driven” person more than a week after going missing in “shark-infested” seas during a Bahamas vacation with classmates.
Cameron Robbins was a cherished grandson, son, brother, and friend.” “He was lost at sea after being reported missing off the coast of Athol Island in the Bahamas on the evening of May 24,” according to an obituary written in his memory. Robbins, an ardent baseball player, had recently graduated from the University Lab School in Baton Rouge. He was last seen late May 24 in the waters off Athol Island in the Bahamas after leaping from the pirate ship-style vessel Blackbeard’s Revenge. Robbins is seen swimming away from a rescue buoy as bystanders yell for him to grasp the device.
Online watchers speculated that they saw glimpses of a shark-like sea creature in the footage and that Robbins was trying to avoid it. He vanished beneath the surface a split second later. The US Coast Guard searched for Robbins and his belongings for two days before calling off the search after finding no trace of him. Officials said Robbins’ family had joined searchers in the Bahamas before returning to the United States on Sunday. A memorial ceremony for the teen has been arranged for June 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Baton Rouge’s Broadmoor United Methodist Church.
