Burt Bacharach, a legendary songwriter, died Wednesday, February 8, at his Los Angeles home, his publicist said in a statement, adding that Bacharach died of natural causes. The pianist had won six Grammy Awards and had won three Oscars for his music in the films Arthur and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The legendary musician was known for his orchestral pop style featured on hits like “I Say a Little Prayer.”
