New York star Brittney Taylor has reportedly been arrested and charged with assault after a dispute with the father of her two children.
TMZ reports that Brittney allegedly hit Afeez with her present children before hitting him with a bat during an alleged altercation last month. An arrest warrant was issued for her and she turned herself in last week. Taylor has been charged with two counts of assault, one count of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of criminal possession of a weapon. The confrontation occurred when Afeez, who shares a 2-year-old and 8-month-old son with Brittney, traveled to New York to visit her children despite lingering tension between him and Taylor, a source told TMZ.

The problem arose when Afeez tried to leave the apartment with her children and her mother. Afeez ignored Brittney as she said something about herself, causing her blood to boil. With her children present, Brittney allegedly punched Afeez in the face, according to a criminal complaint obtained by TMZ. Brittney then allegedly followed Afeez out of the apartment with a bat, before hitting him with it. She received a laceration and suffered considerable bleeding on her face. She went to the hospital and received stitches for a cut over her eye, according to the documents.
The site reports that Afeez may have referred to his feud with Brittney in a recent social media post. The latest dispute comes four years after Taylor grabbed headlines for her after accusing Remy Ma of punching her in the eye during a charity show. Taylor had claimed that Ma punched him in the right eye, causing bruising and swelling. She ended up being treated at Mount Sinai Hospital.
