Benjamin Lloyd, 27, has been identified as the man who passed away following a street fight, according to reports.
On Sunday at around 09:45 BST in Abertridwr, Caerphilly County, paramedics were summoned to a residence and discovered the 27-year-old was not breathing. Welsh Ambulance Service paramedics affirmed the man had passed away; he has since been identified as Benjamin Lloyd.

The Family has paid tribute
A family has paid tribute to a “bright star” after Lloyd was discovered dead at a Caerphilly property.
According to Mr. Lloyd’s family, he is “one of life’s true gentlemen.” Ben always had such an optimistic outlook on life and walked with a spring in his step. A good-natured, diligent, and giving man with many friends, they stated in a statement.
It would be difficult to find someone who didn’t like Ben. “He leaves a sizable number of family members and friends behind who will always feel his absence.
He was the most incredible brother, son, and uncle. There are six very upset kids who will miss mocking and playfighting with their uncle Ben whenever he stops by for a “quiet coffee.”
Mr. Lloyd was “always joking around and making light of every situation,” his family continued. We are confident that he will shine just as brightly in the next world because he was such a shining star in this one.
28-year-old suspect is detained after being charged with killing Benjamin Lloyd
Anyone who saw a fight between two males on White Street, close to the library, on Saturday, April 1, between 8 and 10 p.m. is asked to contact Gwent Police.
A 28-year-old Caerphilly resident has been accused of manslaughter. On Wednesday, he was scheduled to appear before the Newport Magistrates’ Court.
