Beau Mann Wiki – Beau Mann Biography
Beau Mann was discovered dead on May 8, 2023, according to the Santa Monica Police Department. Beau was featured in Dateline’s ‘Missing in America’ series last year. Jason Abate, who claimed to be Beau’s fiancé, spoke with Dateline. Jason informed Dateline that he last spoke with Beau on November 29, 2021 and that everything appeared to be good.
The following day, on November 30, the 41-year-old was seen at a convenience shop on the 11000 block of Ventura Boulevard in Studio City at 2:00 p.m. That was the last time anyone saw him. When Beau hadn’t been heard from in a few days, his family and friends became concerned. He was reported missing on December 4, 2021.
Dateline spoke with Officer Jill Calhoun of the Los Angeles Police Department in May 2022. Officer Calhoun informed Dateline that Beau was dropped off by Uber at a 7-Eleven on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City on November 30, 2021, and that their office got security footage from that day.

According to Dateline, Jason Abate was able to obtain access to Beau’s Uber records from that day. He claimed they showed Beau being dropped off at a 7-Eleven in Studio City about 2:05 p.m., and then on Berkeley Street in Santa Monica at 2:35 p.m. That was Beau’s last Uber stop, according to Jason.
Beau is thought to have sent a text message to 911 at some point during that time frame. Officer Calhoun informed Dateline that the LAPD received a 911 text from Beau on November 30, 2021, and that “several attempts to contact [him] via that correspondence” were attempted, but Beau did not answer.
Officer Calhoun informed Dateline at the time that the Uber Beau was in that day was being investigated, but that no foul play was suspected. Beau’s remains were discovered over a year and a half later.

Found Dead on Abandoned Property in Santa Monica
According to a press release, “the Santa Monica Police Department received information on April 25, 2023, that human remains were found in the courtyard of an abandoned property in the 2900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.” It was around 20 minutes from where Beau was last seen in his Uber on Berkeley Street in Santa Monica.
The Los Angeles County Coroner positively confirmed the remains as Beau’s on May 6 and is currently investigating his cause of death. Sergeant Erika Aklufi of the Santa Monica Police Department told Dateline that her office is now handling Beau’s case and that no foul play is suspected at this time.
Jason Abate texted Dateline saying he was “absolutely devasted” after learning of Beau’s death. “I have so many questions and no answers,” he admitted.
