Melbourne teacher jailed for having sex with a 14-year-old student
In the weeks that followed, Rahmatzadeh messaged the youngster on social media, calling him ‘handsome’ and her ‘favorite’ student. She was lonely after going through COVID-19 lockdowns alone, and she was exhausted as her teaching burden rose. She said Rahmatzadeh had received unusual punishment by losing her job, reputation, and home, as well as being subjected to media scrutiny. Rahmatzadeh will be labeled as a sex offender for the next 15 years.
