Andy Thomas, 54, a motorcyclist enthusiast was killed when his motorbike collided with a car. Mr. Thomas from Summerhill, Wrexham, was riding his Honda CBR when it collided with a white Volvo XC60. North Wales Police were alerted to the incident on the A494 at Glan-y-radon, Corwen, Denbighshire, at 14:43 BST on Saturday. The road was closed for some time while emergency services worked at the scene.

Mr. Thomas’ family paid homage to him on Sunday, saying he was “a wonderful husband, son, father, and brother who was tremendously loved by many, many people.” “He was a huge motorbike enthusiast who lived his life to the fullest, making the most of every day possible,” they continued. He was a beam of brightness who always placed others before himself and dedicated his life to his family.”Our thoughts are with Andy’s family at this tragic time,” said PC Dylan Smith of the force’s Roads Policing Unit.
