Fla. man faces burglary rap after fleeing from motel ‘ghost’
A woman who lived nearby noticed the couple on the front porch of the company, where Kachuroi exclaimed, “Please help me!” According to the affidavit cited by WKMG, George then raced toward the resident, who ran back inside, locked the door, got a knife, and threatened to use it on him as he knocked on the door. Meanwhile, Kachuroi attempted to stop the insane man while another homeowner dialed 911. According to the complaint, when police came, they discovered George laying on the ground, covered in blood and crying out in pain. It was not apparent how he was hurt.
He told detectives that he and Kachuroi fled the motel because he thought a “ghost” was trying to harm him — and that he was unable to enter the business “due to God telling him (Kachuroi) was a bad person to hang out with.” George also told police he decided not to enter the home because he heard kids’ voices and he didn’t want to scare them. He blamed his “bad choices” that night on ecstasy. George was charged with two counts of burglary and held on $20,000 bond. Kachuroi faces a drug rap and a charge of principal to a burglary. She was held on a $5,000 bond.
