Allyson Dierdorff passed away as a result of a newly diagnosed medical condition. She began working for the Irvine Police Department (IPD) on February 1, 2005. She was hired as a Community Services Officer and later became a Civilian Traffic Investigator, a position she held until Friday, March 24, 2023. Allyson’s tenacity and willingness to go the extra mile helped IPD successfully prosecute countless criminals who were involved in hit and run collisions and other vehicle-related crimes.

She was professional, organized, and had impeccable attention to detail. Based on her investigative skills, she was appointed to the Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.), working tirelessly alongside her traffic partners to help provide a sense of closure to those affected by traffic collisions. fatal.
