Alisha Goup Wiki – Bio

Alisha Goup, a teenage girl was pronounced dead after a collision with a car on Thursday afternoon around 1:30 p.m.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene on Rochdale Road, near the Royal Oldham Hospital. Greater Manchester Police said two men have now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Two men have been charged in connection with the fatal road traffic collision

Omar Choudhury, 21, of Royton, and Hamidur Rahman, 23, of Oldham, will appear before magistrates on Monday.

In a statement released tonight, GMP said: “Omar Choudhury (03/04/2001) of Royton and Hamidur Rahman (06/06/1999) of Oldham have been charged with causing death by dangerous driving. They have been placed in remand custody before an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Monday 27th February 2023.

“These charges are the result of an investigation by the GMP Serious Collision Investigation Unit into a fatal traffic collision on Rochdale Road in Oldham at around 1.30pm on Thursday 23rd February 2023, where unfortunately a girl The 16-year-old passed away from injuries sustained at the scene. She has now been identified as Alisha Goup of Royton. Her family have asked for continued privacy as they mourn her loss.”

Rochdale Road was closed for several hours on Thursday as officers and detectives carried out their investigations at the location.
