Alex Jackson, Missouri, was born on December 11, 2001, in Shawnee Mission. He passed away on November 24, 2022. Alex was a junior at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. He graduated in 2020 from Sherwood High School, Creighton, Missouri, where he was a member of the band and academic bowling. At Mizzou, Alex was a member of the Marching Mizzou Band playing the mellophone, playing French horn for the Horn Choir, and a member of the Kappa Kappa Psi service fraternity. Music was his passion and he was always a helpful friend to all. Alex had lived in Garden City before moving to East Lynne in 2019.

He was a beloved member of the French horn studio and played the mellophone in Marching Mizzou (M2). His last performance with M2 was at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs game in front of thousands. He touched the hearts and lives of so many and he fought such a good fight. Teachers, members of the group, and his classmates share the mourning at this time. Our hearts also go out to his family who supported him to the end.
