Alessandro Parini, a 36-year-old Italian citizen, was named as the victim by Israel, according to Italy’s foreign minister. Terror assault on Tel Aviv promenade leaves 1 Italian tourist dead and 7 others injured
Following the shooting in the occupied West Bank earlier on Friday that left two British-Israeli sisters dead and their mother injured, the attack occurred. According to Tel Aviv police, a 45-year-old man was driving a Kia along the city’s coastal boardwalk at 21:25 local time (19:25 BST) when he struck a number of pedestrians before flipping the vehicle on the Charles Clore Garden grass. According to reports, a policeman at a nearby gas station heard the noise and responded quickly to the situation. He arrived to find the car’s driver “trying to reach for what looked like a rifle-like object that was with him” and “neutralized him.”
According to the Israeli emergency service, there were eight overall casualties from the attack, all of them tourists aside from the alleged attacker. According to the report, three of those injured had significant injuries, while four only had light ones.
