Adam Auditore Wiki – Adam Auditore Bio

A Massachusetts man is facing multiple charges in connection to burglaries that occurred at a North Andover apartment complex that houses several Merrimack College students.

North Andover police said Adam Auditore, 26, of Medford, was arrested Tuesday on two counts of attempted nighttime trespassing with intent to commit a felony and one count of trespassing.

During the early morning hours of Monday, North Andover Police and Merrimack College Police responded to Royal Crest Estates after receiving two attempted break-ins and three break-ins at apartments where college students lived.

North Andover police told NewsCenter 5’s John Atwater that they believe Auditore broke into several apartments in Royal Crest Estates in recent weeks, including one two weeks ago and another on Sept. 1. On Tuesday, police said they anticipate bringing more criminal charges against Auditore.

All of the units involved in the raids are occupied by college students, according to police. Authorities said the man did not steal anything or physically harm anyone, so his motives are unclear.

North Andover police said they were able to arrest Auditore as a result of video evidence, the public response to the case, and a cooperative investigation with Merrimack College police.

Auditore has been booked and is being held at the North Andover Police Department while awaiting bail review. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in the Lawrence district.
The student whose apartment was broken into on Sept. 1 told Atwater that she was fast asleep, but was woken up by a man who found him standing in her bedroom before scaring him away.

“I woke up with a strain on my neck and got out of bed and saw it. Then I started going, ‘Oh my God. Oh my God,'” the student said. “He could have had a knife. He could have tried to hit me. It’s very disturbing and I hope they can catch this man because I really don’t want it to happen again.”
On the Ring (camera), you can hear him pushing,” said Madi Grace, whose Ring camera captured the suspect trying to break into her apartment early Monday morning.

“It’s really scary to know that she’s trying to break into girls’ apartments, for whatever reason,” said Michele Buccieri, Grace’s roommate.

According to Merrimack College, Royal Crest Estates is located directly across from the Turnpike Street campus and contains privately owned residences that are rented by the school. Royal Crest is a sprawling complex of 49 buildings, with many of the units housing Merrimack College students, primarily upperclassmen.

Merrimack College advises students to lock their doors for maximum security and those who live in a first floor unit should also lock windows and sliding doors.

One student told Atwater that she had placed bells on door handles in an effort to alert herself and her roommates to a break-in. They also have pepper spray on hand in case a robbery attempt is successful.

Merrimack College police said they, along with North Andover police and Royal Crest management, met with students living in the apartment complex to discuss safety concerns and Auditore’s arrest.

“We are pleased with these honest conversations that took place between university leaders and students,” read a statement from campus police. “The university will be following up with students in the coming weeks to share information about additional security measures that will be taken.”

Following these incidents, Merrimack College Police encourage students to call their department or North Andover Police if they feel something is wrong.
