Abdulrahman Hasan Ahmad Hardan Wiki – Biography
Abdulrahman Hasan Ahmad Hardan, 16, was shot by an Israeli sniper on July 4 as he stood outside Al Amal Hospital in Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank. He was approaching the hospital to donate blood after a call from the mosque when he was shot in the head. Witnesses, as well as the teenager’s family, verified the video showing the moment of the teenager’s death. “My son was not even 17 years old,” her mother, Kifaya Hardan, told The Times, from her home in Fahmeh, West Bank. “The occupation killed him in cold blood and accused him of participating in armed clashes. He wasn’t carrying a gun or anything. He was a boy.” Ms. Hardan, crying as she spoke about the moment, said she ran to Jenin after learning that her son was shot.

He died five hours later in the operating room. “He was an ordinary child, he was not a terrorist as they say,” said his mother. “Every Palestinian in his eyes is a terrorist, armed or not,” she said. Last week, Israeli forces carried out a covert raid on the city, killing 12 Palestinians. The operation involved airstrikes and armored bulldozers tearing up the streets. Israel said two people were killed because they were wanted by “terrorist activists” and another was killed after trying to attack them with a crowbar. They also exchanged fire with gunmen, according to the military. Palestinian health authorities said 12 people were killed and 20 wounded by gunfire. Four of them are in serious condition. Israeli incursions into the West Bank have become increasingly deadly since the beginning of the year. Attacks against Israeli forces also continue.
